Description

Bring plenty of water, a packed lunch and snacks

Our walk starts in Kington and takes us west to visit the seven hills of Kington, but rather than climb them, we shall meander on and around them. We can still enjoy the beautiful scenery without the strenuous effort of scaling the peaks. We’ll take a scenic route out of Kington, emerging onto Hergest Ridge via the footpath through Park Wood. Passing around the bottom of Hanter, our path takes us on through the wooded paths of Worsell, then up the steep ascent of Stanner, before heading across open farmland towards Herrock and Rushock, where we'll enjoy far-reaching views on a clear day. We then descend back to Kington over Bradnor Hill, traversing the highest golf course in England.
