Description

Bring water & snacks if required. Transport to and from start point by own car.

Step away from the footpaths and experience Hay Bluff in a whole new way on this unique guided adventure with experienced professional walking guide Sarah Price. Covering approximately 4–5 miles, this is not a walk about distance but about discovery.
Venturing off the beaten track onto the beautiful moorland beneath the towering slopes of Hay Bluff, we'll explore hidden stream valleys, seek out small waterfalls, and follow natural lines through the landscape that most visitors never see. Along the way, enjoy stunning mountain scenery, grazing ponies, and a real sense of freedom as we leave the established paths behind and immerse ourselves in the wild beauty of the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
Although the mileage is relatively short, progress will be slower as we carefully negotiate uneven terrain and stream crossings. Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness and must wear sturdy walking boots (walking shoes are not suitable).
Led by qualified professional walking guide Sarah Price, this is a chance for adventurous walkers to enjoy a safe, memorable and slightly wilder experience in one of Wales's most spectacular mountain landscapes.
